MP’s call on Federal government to lower cigarette tax
Two Coalition MPs have called on the Federal government to lower the tax on cigarettes in an effort to counter the black market.
Public Health Association of Australia CEO Terry Slevin spoke to 6PR Radio’s Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said Australia was at the “pointy end” when it came to tobacco control and excise was one of the most important strategies.
