Millsy, who has been with the station for more than 18 years, is looking forward to returning to his old timeslot.
“I’m excited to be back on Breakfast, with my good mate Karl, waking up Perth!” he said.
“Life can be challenging for many at present, but our focus will be providing inspiration to start everyone’s day on the right foot.
“Throw in some laughs and the latest news, and 6PR Brekky with us will definitely get Perth talking.”
Langdon, Perth’s revered West Coast Premiership champion, sports commentator and broadcaster with more than 27 years at the station, is excited by the opportunity.
“I’m looking forward to setting the early wake-up call to work alongside Millsy. I’ve admired and respected him since the moment he joined 6PR and to work alongside him will be fun,” Karl said.
“Get ready for the unexpected in 2023!”
6PR content manager Emily White said listeners are in for a real treat with the new show.
“These two lovable larrikins will keep you across everything that’s happening in Perth: the latest news, traffic, sport and weather, plus your favourite segments like the Rumour File and $1000 minute will continue,” she said.
“What better way to wake up and start the day in WA.”
An announcement for the new host of the Afternoon program will be made in due course.
