Premier Mark McGowan said he expects to announce a new date this month for WA’s border reopening.

However, he stopped short of setting an exact date.

WA has reported 62 new cases of Covid-19 with 48 of those being locally-acquired.

Three of the new cases are not linked to known cases and are under investigation.

There are currently three aged care facilities where staff and residents have tested positive and 30 schools are managing cases.

Brightwater’s The Cove in Mandurah reported a further 10 cases yesterday, taking that facility’s cluster to 12.

There are 471 active cases being monitored in and no one is in hospital. Yesterday, 8051 people were tested.
