New laws set to save children’s lives
The Telethon Kids Institute is welcoming a crackdown on vaping and an increase in tobacco taxes.
Telethon Kids Institute executive director Professor Jonathan Carapetis told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live vaping is an increasing health issue amongst children.
“Most disturbingly, kids actually being addicted to nicotine and having to in some cases actually take vapes during class time to avoid withdrawal symptoms,” said Professor Carapetis.
