New research set to change how we go about oral hygiene
Polish researchers have developed a toothpaste that doesn’t include fluoride.
After 18 months of using it, people were less likely to get cavities than study peers who used fluoride toothpaste.
Head of Melbourne Dental School and microbiologist Professor Alastair Sloan spoke with Julie-anne Sprague on 6PRs Afternoons.
“The mechanisms for how the hydroxyapatite toothpaste is working and the fluoride toothpaste will work are going to be different,” Professor Sloan said.
