A Perth widow still waiting for construction to start on a new home she was assured would be finished by February next year has been promised a sit-down with the builder to discuss how to speed up the project.

Jacqui spoke to 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead about her building debacle on Tuesday, after she decided to downsize and build a new home with Niche Living after her husband was diagnosed with cancer.

Niche said in a statement that, due to privacy reasons, it could not discuss or provide specific information relating to Jacqui’s build.

“We have reached out to the customer to setup a meeting with our senior management team to discuss her concerns and her new home build progress,” a statement to 6PR said.
