A week after Danny Hodgson’s attacker was arrested for allegedly committing another violent assault, the one-punch victim’s family is reeling from yet another traumatic setback.

Danny’s father Peter migrated to WA to look after his son, who was left with serious lifelong injuries after being assaulted in Geraldton.

Now, he is sadly facing the risk of deportation over issues with his visa, despite the critical nature of his stay.

“We’ve been trying for the past 18 months; no-one’s listening,” Mr Hodgson said.
