The City of Stirling is keen to be considered as an alternative location for Sculpture by the Sea.
Mark Irwin, Mayor of the City of Stirling, told 6PR’s Gary Adshead,

“If it can’t go ahead, and this means saving an iconic event, we’d love to have those discussions.”

David Handley, Founding Director of Sculpture by the Sea, explains that the reaction has been phenomenal, but there is no hope for the 2025 exhibition.
“Cottesloe is one of the best sites in the world for an exhibition like this,” he said.
