No summer sins for West Coast
Josh Kennedy has praised the professionalism of his West Coast Eagles teammates as they look to go one better in 2016.
The Eagles lost last year’s Grand Final to Hawthorn after being the surprise packet of the season.
With a shorter break over summer, Kennedy said the team ensured they came back in tip-top nick so they could get straight down to business.
‘A lot of us have all come back in good nick,’ he said.
‘We knew we had a shorter time to most other clubs.
‘We knew we had to do a fair bit in our break make sure that we were ready to go, so we could get the footies out and do some match simulation.
‘Same as our Christmas break, we had to make sure we didn’t go into that down low phase, and keep training hard to make sure when we get back in the gym we are ready to go.’
