Older Australians and peak bodies representing the needs of older people have met in Canberra, urging politicians to stop delaying action to reform Australia’s aged care system.

Craig Gear, Chief Executive at the Older Persons Advocacy Network, spoke to 6PR Afternoons host Julie-anne Sprague on the need for change.

“We don’t want to see people pushed into poverty to have to pay for aged care,” he said.
