A documentary on the legendary life and career of Olivia Newton-John is in the works by well-respect doco-makers, R.J Cutler.

The documentary is set to delve into her life as an activist, singer and actor.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that Olivia’s family have given full access to her music library and any personal archives.

“It’s going to be officially endorsed by the family themselves, so it will be a really special thing when it’s done,” Peter Ford said.
