The International Olympic Committee’s decision to allow female boxer Imane Khelif to compete after failing a gender eligibility test last year has come into question.

Former Australian professional boxer Jeff Fenech spoke with 6PR Breakfast hosts Steve Mills and Oliver Peterson on the controversy, after her opponent Angela Carini was forced to abandon the match in less than a minute.

“It’s a shame, these girls have trained for years to compete against females, not males,” he said.
