Australia’s biggest sheep station has been sold for an undisclosed sum to a privately owned company based in the United Kingdom.

Rawlinna Station had been earmarked for Andrew Forrest’s Green Energy Hub, but after the sale fell through, the owners chose to move forward with their plans.

Greg Smith from Elders explained to 6PR Breakfast Show hosts Millsy and Karl how this one-million-hectare property was one of the best-developed sheep stations in Australia.

“Sheep have had a pretty tough time in the last 30 years,” he said.
