The father of Friends actress Jennifer Aniston and a star in his own right, John Aniston, has passed away.

One of TV’s most popular villains for 30 years on Days of our Lives, Aniston died a few days ago, with the family keeping the news under wraps until today.

“He’s quite legendary in the world of soapies, and he got a lifetime achievement award at the Emmy’s this year,” entertainment reporter Peter Ford told Michael Genovese on Breakfast.
