Opposition calls for roadmap to re-open WA
The Premier says he won’t set out a timeline for re-opening WA but has confirmed he will not allow people from states with COVID-19 hotspots to visit before Christmas.
It comes as Queensland announces it’s allowing quarantine free travel from fully vaccinated interstate travellers from mid December.
Mark McGowan says once WA gets to an 80 per cent vaccination rate his Government will have greater certainty on when borders can open to New South Wales, Victoria, and the ACT.
State Opposition Leader Mia Davies says the Premier needs a plan to re-open WA’s borders.
