Optus breach fuels telco complaints despite overall decrease
Complaints from phone and internet consumers decreased 16.5 percent in the last financial year according to the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.
Despite the overall decrease, the Optus data breach fuelled a 30 per cent increase in complaints for the telco.
The Industry Ombudsman Cynthia Gerberts told Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live there were still some areas of concern but the report was overall a good outcome.
