‘Our superhero’ comes to the rescue of two very sick puppies

When Jess Bonacchi arrived home to find her two beloved cavoodles had eaten some anti-inflammatory tablets, she rushed the puppies to get medical care.
But when she was quoted between $10,000 and $60,000 per dog, Jess found herself having to make a heartbreaking decision.
Jess explains to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont how, luckily, a friend’s father heard about her predicament and stepped up to help her and her beautiful dogs, Leo and Franky.
“I can’t thank Alan enough for his generosity. It’s all very surreal, and his contribution to the whole process— I couldn’t have done it without him,” she said.
