Paddy Sweeney: Brisbane need to find a new captain next year
Melbourne defender Harrison Petty has accepted an apology from the Brisbane Lions captain Dayne Zorko.
The comment that left Petty in tears has led to the Lions skipper express remorse and vow “to be a better leader”.
Paddy Sweeney told 6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker in their regular Sport chat about what Zorko reportedly said, and that the apology doesn’t go far enough.
“I’m really disappointed in Dayne Zorko and Brisbane’s response,” he said.
“I think Brisbane need to find a new captain next year,
“You don’t want that as someone setting the standards at your football club.”
