Passengers have described the chaotic scene on board a Singapore Airlines flight, after it was hit with extreme turbulence.

A 73-year-old man from Britain suffered a heart attack and died on board, while eight Australians are among dozens of injured passengers being treated in Bangkok hospitals.

“We really have to be quick about identifying the turbulence, and then working out what the best way to get out of that turbulence is,” Qantas 737 Captain and AIPA Safety & Technical Director Steve Cornell told Millsy and Karl onĀ 6PR Breakfast.
