Australia’s Crocodile Dundee Paul Hogan, actor and now, author has written a new book ‘Australia according to Hoges,’ exploring the many reasons to love his homeland.

Paul Hogan told 6PR Mornings host Gary Adshead that his inspiration came from his travels, cementing to him how special Australia is.

“People who live here don’t know it, so I thought I better write a history book about,” Mr Hogan said.

The comedy legend explores his definition of Australia in his new book, looking back at his childhood and commenting on how things have changed.

“We are rapidly improving but we are not perfect yet. Our original rubbish, my ancestors, convicts, weren’t really classy people but given the span of two lifetimes I think we are the most advance, diverse and sophisticated nation in history.”
