Perth braces for an unseasonal heatwave, breaking a 40-year record

Perth is about to swelter through the hottest period this late in March in 40 years.
Meteorologist Helen Reid explained to Perth Today host Mark Doran what is causing this autumn anomaly.
“I’m sure all the climatologists will be consulting those record books for the longest period this late in the season,” she said.
