Perth cyclist set to make his mark in the Tour de France
WA cyclist Jai Hindley has raced his way to be the third favourite at his debut Tour de France starting this Saturday.
President of Midland Cycling Club – Jai’s old club – James Buchannon will be leading a tour of young cyclists through France to cheer Jai on.
Mr Buchannon told Karl and Gena on 6PR Breakfast it’s a major deal for Jai and a great representation of the competitiveness of WA cycling.
“He’s already won the Giro d’Italia, which was spectacular… so he comes into the Tour de France already a tour winner,” Mr Buchannon said.
