Local football is upping its game by introducing cameras to all adult-grade football matches.

Perth Football League CEO Andrew Dawe explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the footage is being used to keep an eye on on-field incidents and act as a deterrent, but can also be used for training purposes.

“We want to know that everyone can rock up to the game and be safe and play a game of football without having to worry about any on-field incidents,” he said.
