Article image for Perth proud to be on the streets for Anzac March

The traditional march through the city following the Anzac Memorial Service was a moment of sensible celebration for all involved, a fitting end to the first unrestricted Anzac Day in years.

Nine News and 6PR reporter Jake Battrick told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings their was an air of revelry following the finish of the march.

“Spirits are certainly high this morning; plenty of kids getting involved as well and the moment certainly wasn’t lost on them,” he said.

“It’s been a tremendous morning here on the Terrace.”
