Six world-first traffic infringement trailers are being deployed across Perth. These mobile trailers use advanced technology to detect not only speeding but also drivers using mobile phones or failing to wear seat belts.

David Michael, the Road Safety Minister, explained to 6PR’s Chrissy Morrissy that community consultation and road statistics will help decide where these trailers are placed.
