Perth tradie goes viral after revealing the problem with ‘the cashie’
When was the last time you asked for a ‘cashie’ from your local tradie?
6PR Breakfast host Gareth Parker asked the question to listeners on Friday morning when a Perth tradesman lashed out online.
Brad Higgins, a local carpenter, hit out at the everyday’ cash job’ saying that clients “break the rules” when they ask for a cheaper rate if they pay with physical money.
Tap PLAY to hear the rant and what Gareth Parker thinks of the tradie’s tantrum.
“How many times has someone asked you to do a job cheaper for cash? Say the job’s ten grand… you knock off the GST… that’s a grand saved for the customer,” he says.
“You finish the job, hand out ready to go, and they go ‘, we’ll just transfer it to you’,
“You’ve saved one thousand bucks, so get the cash. You can’t transfer it these days.”
