West Australian Olympic runner Peter Bol has released a statement stating that his provisional suspension has been lifted for allegedly using performance-enhancing drugs.

Peter Bol’s coach Justin Rinaldi told Gary Adshead while he had no doubts about the track stars’ innocence, he was still nervous.

“I had no doubt, I know Peter very well and I know what we stand for,” Mr Rinaldi said.

After this interview aired, Sports integrity Australia said the relevant rules require a WADA-accredited authority to obtain a second opinion from an expert, and therefore the investigation remains ongoing.
