A national survey of travel agents found just one in 10 will survive beyond April 1, without an extension of the JobKeeper program.

The survey conducted by Small Business Australia found up to 40,000 people in the travel industry are on the verge of losing their jobs.

Travel agent Christine Ross told Oliver Peterson the lack of certainty within the travel industry has caused relentless stress and anxiety.
