The Transport Minister says she’ll be working with the airlines towards delivering cheaper regional airfares while working around the economic impacts the coronavirus pandemic has had on the airlines.

The State Government is in talks with Qantas, Virgin, and Regional Express hoping people in Perth decide to holiday in the regions to keep tourism operators afloat.

Rita Saffioti told Gareth Parker on Mornings the airlines have made some moves towards cheaper regional flights in the past.
