Aussie kids as young as 11 showing signs of cardiovascular disease

Researchers are warning children who are overweight or obese in early life, are showing signs of cardiovascular disease when they are as young as 11.

A study has recorded the height and weight of close to 2000 children every two years for a decade.

Speaking with Gareth Parker on Mornings, Murdoch Children’s Research Institute Doctor Kate Lycett says this type of research hasn’t been conducted before and the findings are concerning.
