Helium ballloons are increasingly being banned by Perth Councils. Many have banned the use and release of the balloons in public spaces because of concerns over their impact on the environment

The City of Nedlands is looking at bringing in event guidleines for people hiring their buidlings at facilities which will ban the use of balloons inside.
