Final testing is underway on the Matagarup bridge, before its official opening within the next two weeks.

Premier MARK MCGOWAN and Transport Minister RITA SAFFIOTTI have led a group of construction workers across the footbridge – as they became the first people to walk the entirety of its length.

The bridge will be open in time for the AFL clash between Fremantle and Port Adelaide on July 15.
