CCC finds hundreds of truckies corruptly licensed
A Corruption and Crime Commission investigation has found a Neerabup truck driving school acted corruptly in handing out hundreds of heavy vehicle licences without carrying out the proper driver training and assessment.
6PR Mornings uncovered the situation in June, when 678 truck drivers were told their licences were invalid after being assessed at the Department of Transport-registered Mines West Truck Driving School.
Transport Workers Union’s Tim Dawson told Mornings with Gareth Parker, criminal charges should be brought.
