Charity admin fees unavoidable
The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission is ensuring Australians their money will be put to good use if they contribute to bushfire appeals run by large organisations.
The Red Cross has come under fire for only committing $30 million to those affected by the bushfire crisis instead of the entire $115 million that’s been raised so far.
Commission head Gary Johns told Oliver Peterson administration fees are unavoidable.
