Cooking icon Margaret Fulton dies aged 94

Margaret Fulton, OAM,  is being remembered as an Australian trailblazer and our first ”celebrity” chef following her death at the age of 94.

The celebrated food writer used her more than 20 cookbooks to introduce Australians to new flavours from around the world.

She was most well-known for her 1968 The Margaret Fulton Cookbook.

Food writer for The Australian John Lethlean told Oliver Peterson he’d be surprised to find any Australian household that doesn’t have one of her cookbooks.
