Andrew Forrest’s Minderoo Foundation wants to prevent bushfires from becoming catastrophic within an hour of them starting.

The Fire Shield Mission is aiming to reduce the scale and impact of bush fires by using new technologies to detect and extinguish fires.

Minderoo Foundation’s Fire and Flood Resilience Initiative CEO Adrian Turner told Gareth Parker on Mornings its hoped the technology can be in place within 5 years.
