Could the wine industry be the next victim of the Australia-China trade war?

The head of the national association of Australian grape-growers and wine producers says the industry is concerned about ongoing commentary from China.

The barley industry has been hit hard by trade tensions between China and Australia – slapped with 80 percent tariffs.

There are fears other Australian exports could be targeted next – including the wine industry.

CEO of Australian Grape and Wine Incorporated Tony Battaglene says they don’t want to be caught up in a tit for tat trade war.
