Could ‘three parent’ IVF babies be born in Australia?

Medical experts are assessing a controversial proposal to change laws to allow ‘three parent IVF’ in Australia.

Under the practice, DNA from two women’s eggs are combined to remove genes which cause deadly diseases in babies.
