Cut funding for anti-vaccination schools
The Australian Medical Association is urging schools which oppose vaccinations to be stripped of federal funding, after a measles scare at a Perth Steiner school.
It’s believed hundreds of children at the Perth Waldorf School are not immunised, sparking a Health Department warning when a student contracted measles.
AMA WA president Omar Khorshid told Mornings with Gareth Parker, the government needs to make it clear that the anti-vaccination message is dangerous.
