Donors needed: bad flu season puts strain on blood bank
We’ve been hit with a particularly tough flu season, and it’s put pressure on in a surprising place; the blood bank.
The Red Cross Blood Service needs blood donors urgently, particularly those with A and O bloodtypes, as many of their regular donors have had to cancel due to flu, and the Queens Birthday long weekend expected to make things worse.
