Drone complaints on the rise
The Civil Aviation Safety Authority receives around 100 complaints a week about drones, with privacy and safety just some of the issues.
“Privacy and noise which are strictly beyond our safety rule and then you get complaints about safety issues like flying too close to people, flying too close to property, flying too close to airports that sort of thing,” CASA spokesperson Peter Gibson told 6PR Breakfast.
“The number of complaints is keeping pace with the number of drones,” he said.
