Economy heading the right direction despite global headwinds: Cormann
The Federal Government says Australia’s finances are moving back into the black for the first time in more than a decade
The mid-year budget update shows the surplus will come in at $5 billion this financial year but this is $2 billion less than had been forecast in the April budget.
Finance Minister Mathias Cormann told Gareth Parker projections for next year are encouraging.
