If elected, Bill Shorten wants all primary school children to get free swimming lessons. This is in response to the dismal drowning figures for this summer.

Today Oliver Peterson spoke to founder of Real Schools and former principal Adam Voigt about why swimming lessons should NOT be part of the school curriculum.

He believes politicians shouldn’t be “shoehorning swimming into an academic program already bursting at the seams.”
