FrogID Week

Simon Beaumont

Australia’s frogs are under threat.

The Australian Museum is launching FrogID Week and they need your help.

Between November 9 – 18 take part in FrogID Week, Australia’s biggest frog count!

By taking part in FrogID Week you will help provide scientists with valuable data for the protection and conservation of frogs.

To participate, all you need to do is capture a frog’s call with an app developed for smartphones by the Australian Museum.

Dr Jodi Rowley, the Australian Museum’s curator of amphibian and reptile conservation biology told Gareth Parker they need people to listen into frog’s love songs, record them and submit it with the app.
