HBF cancels premium increases due to start on April 1
Insurer HBF has scrapped its planned premium increase for next financial year.
The Perth-based private health fund was planning an average price hike of one-point-nine-eight per-cent next month.
But HBF chief John Van Der Wielen told Gareth Parker on Mornings the board made the decision to freeze the increase, following an emergency meeting overnight.
