Hospitals Expect To See Spike In Silly Injuries
Hospitals are bracing to see an influx of “silly” and embarrassing injuries over Christmas, usually involving alcohol and adults trying to have a go on kid’s toys.
Karl O’Callaghan spoke to Dr David Mountain from the Australian Medical Association about unusual cases he’s seen over the years.
“We certainly see lots of people who get on devices they’re not particularly prepared for or don’t really realise how dangerous they actually are,” he said.
