Interstate tourism could be up & running in two months

The Federal Tourism Minister says he wants domestic travel around the nation to be up and running again by the July School holidays.

A number of states and territories have employed strict border controls, to help curb the spread of coronavirus.

Speaking with Gareth Parker on Mornings, Tourism Minister Simon Birmingham says some states have had success in getting on top of the disease — and hopes they can work out travel agreements between each other.
