Premier Mark McGowan has compromised the independence and integrity of the office of the Governor by taking his family for an overnight stay at Government House, according to Deputy Leader of the Opposition Liza Harvey.

Government House were forced to respond to claims that this and other expenditures by Governor Kim Beazley are a waste of tax payers money.

Ms Harvey joined Oliver Peterson today where she called the Premier’s choices into question.
