Is Russian wheat undermining Australian exports?

Australian wheat growers are closely watching the expanding grain industry in the Black Sea region, with early indications that Russia may be impacting traditional Australian export markets in South East Asia.

WA Farmers’s Grains Section Senior Vice President, Mic Fels told Mornings with Gareth Parker, Russia has been ramping up its production and improving practices.

WA Agriculture minister Alannah MacTiernan then told Gareth, she thinks more needs to be done to ensure Australian industry remains competitive.
