Meet the man in charge of COVID tracking and tracing in WA

Contact tracing is a crucial part of containing coronavirus in WA with a team of 200 people working to ensure all cases are accounted for.

The tracing involves learning the movements of an infected person and finding anyone who had more than 15 minutes of face to face time with them.

The man in charge of the team, Head of Contract Tracing at WA Public Health Dr Ben Scalley told Gareth Parker on Mornings it can take hours to get all the necessary information from a confirmed case.
